They are ready for sacramental training in a life of self-evolution and service – the Sacred Way of Priesthood.
The Sacred Way of the Priesthood is a path of deep devotion, selfless service, and spiritual discipline, embodying a profound commitment to the Divine and the well-being of the community. Rooted in ancient traditions, the Priesthood serves as a bridge between the mortal and the sacred, acting as stewards of Divine Mysteries and guardians of spiritual wisdom.
Priests dedicate their lives to prayer, ritual, and the cultivation of virtues, striving to align their thoughts, words, and actions with the higher principles of their faith. This holy vocation requires humility, compassion, and unwavering faith, as priests bear the responsibility of guiding others toward enlightenment, healing, and communion with the divine. Through their sacred duties, they illuminate the path of spiritual awakening, reminding all of the Divine presence within and around them.
Dr. François Bothma is a distinguished independent bishop affiliated with the Home Temple Group.
He has cultivated an extensive and profound spiritual practice through dedicated engagement with a range of spiritual, religious, and Kabbalistic studies. His early academic and spiritual pursuits culminated in his ordination as a priest. In 2012, following the completion of a Master’s degree in Divinity, he was consecrated as a bishop by Dr. Lewis Keizer.
Dr. Bothma’s engagement with various spiritual leaders and traditions has profoundly shaped his approach, emphasizing the development of authentic interior spiritual practices and experiential understanding. His initiation into multiple advanced Eastern and Western spiritual traditions further underscores his commitment to the integration of diverse spiritual disciplines.
The Studies
Students of the Home Temple Group will exercise Sacramental Priesthood for home gatherings, spiritual practice, and the education of others.
Therefore, Home Templars are required to undertake serious study and training.
The Home Temple qualifies Postulants and Candidates for Holy Orders through a self-paced course of studies designed, simplified, and guided by scholars based upon the profound spirituality of Mar Yeshua, the Master Jesus.
Sincere men and women of any educational background may undertake training, which is offered in English.
Order of The Temple of The Holy Grail
Priesthood students also embark on studies in the Order of the Temple of the Holy Grail.
The purpose of T:.H:.G:. is to empower people dedicated to a life of service, regardless of what their work or position in society might be.
All fields of human endeavour have sacred dimensions that Grail Teachings, Sacraments, and Empowerments can potentiate and inspire. Admission to the Initiatic process and First Order Empowerments opens new dimensions of effective and invisible service in all life endeavours, whether professional, artistic, medical, educational, religious, commercial, social, domestic, or manual labour.
The thirteen-month First Order training of the Temple of the Holy Grail (T:.H:.G:.) guides Spiritual Initiates through seven Empowerments that are done on lunar cycles after Easter-Passover Vigil and Wesak Initiation.
